What is RSS? ::

You've most likely have run across those little orange buttons on websites that say "RSS" or "XML" or "Feed". If you've ever clicked on one before, you were greeted with code, and you probably just thought the page was written wrong, or that your browser wasn't compatible and moved on.

Think of those little buttons as bookmarks that contain the latest content from the site: articles, news items, posts, etc. To use that source, and turn the code into something readable, you need a news reader or aggregator.

A news reader or aggregator is sort of like your browser... but its more like a personalized newspaper/magazine that you tailor to your liking. You pick which content you want to show up, and every-time there is new content and you refresh your news reader, you get the latest information delivered to you.
