Part of his Sound Therapy series, David Lyndon Huff's offering is primarily keyboards and piano liberally laced with sounds from nature. But this CD definitely lives up to it's name "classic" new age name... Tranquility. The lilting notes of his piano conjure up visions of quiet pastoral scenes filled with sunshine and butterflies or hot romantic summer nights.

Favorite Tracks Include:

The creation of something beautiful and powerful is contained in (2) Serenity, it bubbles up from hidden depths to mesmerize the listener for over 12 grace filled minutes. Nature sounds added to the mix in the cinematic (3) Rolling Clouds intrigued me... the soft murmuring of a nearby stream join with piano notes that fall like soft raindrops upon it's banks which lead us on a gentle journey to the quiet lapping waves of the sea. While (7) Nocturne's gently lapping waves bring to mind the dance of a beautiful full moon upon a quiet lake... and the insects of (10) Nightwinds reminds one of steamy summer nights, and the dance of fireflies under a sapphire sky full of stars.

This CD is perfect for those who have trouble falling asleep, but would be equally appropriate for daydreaming, reading, massage, or just spending a special evening with someone you love.
