Review / Comments ::
Tranquil Forest, the latest totally enchanting release by Hanai Music! Quiet, gentle and unobtrusive this CD is definitely written to soothe the mind and cradle the world weary soul.
One of my Favorites is "Eyes of the Night", with a distinctive Native American flavor. Gentle percussion like quiet raindrops, the quiet hum of cicadas, and a lonely wooden flute enhance this haunting tune.
In "Wind as I Walk" and "Spirit Echos", Hanai helps us to appreciate that some places are as sacred as they are beautiful. "Beneath the Waterfall" is otherworldly. It's beautiful, peaceful and almost eerie and gives one the impression it is somehow, not of this earth. How Hanai can make her music paint a landscape in her listener's mind I have yet after years of research to answer.
With a departure into a new soft jazzy style, my absolute favorite track from this cool new CD is "Lonely Moonbeam". To me it is the perfect crowning glory to this awesome and long awaited CD.
Tranquil Forest is the perfect accompaniment for massage therapy or any time relaxing music is desired.
This collection of new music lingers in the air like the last rays of the sun in the evening. When the last sweet notes fade away I can only say it leaves me with an overwhelming desire to hear it again!
I'd rave a little more, but I think Josh is going to grab me off the soap box here any minute for running on so!
