Review / Comments ::

An interesting CD full of lush sweeping vistas. Dramatic enough to score a movie, yet peaceful and tranquil at the same time. A truly strong and grounding collection of Mr. Collins' orchestral compositions.

Favorite tracks include the grand shimmer of (1) Light, the gentle (2) Per Mare Per Terras, the interesting (6) Forest Rain with its hint of soft percussion, the positively dreamy (8) Drifting and the sweet flow of the piano notes and the accompanying eerie call of the flute in (9) Raindrop.

Mr. Collins seems to be a very talented man. With his original compositions he has provided listeners with some very interesting imaginary vistas.

Popular with many of my massage clients, this CD is suitable also as background for any relaxing activity the listener would care to engage in.
