Review / Comments ::

Angels of the Sea is one of the many albums from Dan Gibson's Solitudes line of beautify mastered albums that combine both nature and music artistically.

I purchased this album a number of years ago and still enjoy listening to it.  Frequently I use this album for meditation, because it offers a great mix of ocean sounds and wildlife with easy melodies that blend seamlessly together.  Running at just under 1 hr, this album is great for 45 min meditation sessions.

My favorite meditative tracks include: (2) Florida Dream, (5) Free Spirit, (7) The Light of Baja, and (8) Northern Inlet.  One track however tops the list of must play songs:

  • (2) Florida Dream --  Florida Dream is a soft melody that incorporates gentle ocean waves, song birds, a piano, flutes and more.  The images that come to mind whenever I listen to Florida Dream; is that of an summer oasis that you can enjoy free of interruption from the modern world...

Angels of the Sea offers a great mix of both nature and music, however some of the music on select tracks gets washed out by the nature sounds.  Angles of the Sea receives, Streams-of-Time's above average rating: 4 out of 5 stars.
